Memorial Day is this weekend which means a lot of burgers and barbecuing will be happening. As a veggie advocate you don’t want to be left out but you want to stick to your healthy lifestyle. Below is a delicious, vegan lentil burger to place on the grill instead!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked organic lentils
- 1 cup organic kale (chopped)
- 2 tbsp organic parsley (chopped)
- 1 organic onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp organic tomato puree
- 1/2 organic oats
- 1 tsp organic turmeric
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Organic Tropic Oil (coconut oil)
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients (except oil) in a food processor
- Form mixture into patties
- Cook patties on skillet (with coconut oil) for 3-6 minutes or on a barbecue until browned
- Serve on sprouted wheat buns with favorite organic toppings
