  1. Caring for the environment is super important to me, and knowing that Purium also cares enough to be a business leader in protection of the environment makes me feel great about my purchases. I love the terra pouches, glad to not have to keep recycling plastic scoops, and happy when my products come packaged in recycled content paper and very little plastic.

    1. Hi Elizabeth, thanks so much for the feedback! We’re glad to hear your support and hope to initiate more environmentally-friendly measures in the future.

  2. I really love my scoops… I don’t have a 2.5 tablespoon, or a 6.5, I don’t want to have to count, try to figure out a half a spoon. I just want my scoop! It’s handy, it’s in my jars that I keep at work, and now you’re taking them away from us? I don’t think scoops are the problem with the environment,, the problem is those plastic collars around cans and bottles…and those horrible water bottles. Please allow us to perhaps purchase a set of scoops, and include both scope and spoon amounts on your items. I pour the Terra pouch items back into my plastic containers, because bugs, roaches, mice are more likely to chew through the Terra pouch then they are through my plastic containers. Please reconsider… Not everyone wants this change… unless it means the prices will be less because there’s no plastic scoop in it. You’re already pretty expensive and hard for me to continue buying on my limited income

    1. Hi,

Thank you for your valued feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience that this change may have caused. We encourage you to reuse old containers in the exact way as you described, and burying the Terra Pouch afterward. (Don’t forget to peel off the label before doing so.) We also encourage you to keep old scoops if that is the easier alternative for you. We will share this feedback with our team so that we can better serve you and other customers in the future. Thank you!

    2. Every bit of effort counts and yes all that plastic adds up! Everyone has a spoon at their house and most know how to count to 5. For the 0.5 just fill half a spoon, it’s not a delicate science experiment, it doesnt need to be exact. And there is nothing stopping you from saving your scoop from previous purchases 🙂

  3. Thank you for making this change. It is really easy to keep one scoop, from each product used. They wash and dry nicely. I look forward to a terra pouch for MVP Kids and hope this will happen soon. Purium is awesome!!

  4. I absolutely LOVE the terrapouches, It’s actually a bummer for me when I select the wrong container. I put my shake in my flip top jar

    1. Hi Tasha, that’s great to hear! We hope to be plastic-free one day, providing earth-friendly packaging for all products eventually.

  5. I have a question about the terra pouches. I understand that the plastic label has to be removed before composting, but how about the label underneath the plastic label? That one is much harder to remove, and seems to be made of a material that is different from the top plastic label. Does the underneath-label also need to be removed before composting?
