Meal Makeover: April Fool’s Day Edition

April Fool’s Day is either a day you love because you are a great prankster or a day you hate because you are always the one being  pranked. It’s a day for silly jokes and tricks, and if you have kids you’ll probably hear some wild ones!
Right now you’re probably one of these three types of people:
  1. Already have a few ideas up your sleeve
  2. Searching Google right now trying to plan out the perfect scheme
  3. Figuring out the best place to hide and stay low for the day
No matter what category you fall into we have a fun idea for you to make April Fool’s Day your day this year with this “donut” recipe that will surely trick your friends and family!
What you’ll need:
  • Organic apples
  • Organic cinnamon
  • Purium Tropic Oil (coconut oil)
  • MVP Kids chocolate shake
  • Organic avocado
  • Organic almond milk
What you’ll do:
  • Remove the skin from the apples, core the apple, and slice horizontally to create a donut-like shape
  • Sauté apple slices in coconut oil, remove, and cover in cinnamon
  • Using  a food processor, blend the avocado, 1 scoop MVP Kids, and a splash of  almond milk to create a creamy, frosting-like texture
  • Spread chocolate mixture on top of apple slices
  • Place faux donuts in a donut box and serve for breakfast or a snack
