Juice Industry Booms, Yet Americans Aren’t Eating Enough Fruits and Veggies

SHARE

For the past few years, the juicing industry has boomed, making over $5 billion dollars per year in the United States alone.  Just like Starbucks, new juice bars are taking over neighborhood street corners and pre-made drinks line the refrigerator sections in grocery stores.

Ironically, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recently reported that only 12% of Americans are getting their daily fruit recommendation and only 9% get the recommended daily vegetable intake.

So, what’s the deal?

While juicing is a “quick and easy” way to get your daily dose, most Americans see it as either expensive and convenient or expensive and time consuming.

Why do people avoid fresh produce?

  • An average juice bar drink can cost $6-$10
  • An average juice bar shot can cost $2-$5
  • Specialty fruits and veggies aren’t easy to find and can be expensive
  • Grocery shopping, rinsing, cutting, peeling and cleaning requires time AND money

However, it doesn’t have to be difficult, time consuming OR expensive.

We’re thrilled to introduce our NEW Juice Bar in a Bag! For a limited-time, this economically-conscious (cute) tote bag includes several of our best superfoods products, like Can’t Beet This, Bio Fruit and Coco-Hydrate. It even comes with a free BPA and phthalate free Shaker Bottle. With this bag, the Shaker Bottle and all the different flavors, you can have countless blend options and your very own juice bar on the go!
