Caramel apples are a favorite pastime treat for almost everyone. We’d go to the Fair with the family and get a sticky, gooey, caramel-y apple on a stick. And while our tongues may have loved that sweet treat, our bodies didn’t. We’d experience a sugar high then a crash and put ourselves at a higher risk for diabetes and obesity. Fortunately, there are delicious and healthy substitutes out there for almost all childhood treats! Below is a baked caramel apple recipe that will take you right back to those days as a kid without any of the unhealthy side effects… it will even boost your “skinny hormone” level! How do you like them apples?!

Are there measurements for this recipe?
Hi Karen,
The measurements change according to one’s taste. You can start of with 2 or 3 tablespoons off the oil and then mix in the Daily Fiber according to how much taste you want. Then go from there to your liking. Alternatively, you can coat your apple slices with coconut oil and garnish them with 1 scoop/tablespoon of Daily Fiber.
Hope this helps!
Have you ever mixed it with plain Greek yogurt?
Hi Rachel,
We have not, but that sounds yummy. Just be sure to mix well.
