5 Homemade Stocking Stuffers that Rock!

Written by: Purium

Typical stocking stuffers are gift cards, candy, lotions, etc. but why not step it up this year with some DIY thoughtful gifts? We have a few simple (and inexpensive) ideas that will wow your friends and family!

1.   Christmas DIY tea bags with organic whole tea leaves:

What you’ll need:

  • Organic whole tea leaves
  • Coffee filters
  • Scissors
  • Sewing machine
  • Yarn
  • Poster board paper

What to do:

  • Cut coffee filters into cute holiday shapes (candy canes, stockings, Christmas tree, etc.)
  • Sew all but one edge closed and fill with organic tea leaves
  • Seal it all up and attach a string and cute small poster board paper to the other end.

2.  Christmas baby onesie: This cute Christmas onesie that YOU design yourself will be a hit! All you have to do is buy a white onesie, rubber Christmas stamp and a fabric ink pad and then iron it to set it in place. Make sure to put something in the middle when you are stamping to prevent soaking through!

3.  Paperclip and yarn earrings:

What you’ll need:

  • Silver paper clips
  • Colored yarn
  • Earring hooks
  • Super glue (or other fast drying clear adhesive)

What to do:

  • Unfold the paperclip and form it into a triangle
  • Put the earring hook on and then glue the ends together
  • Put a dab of glue on the paper clip to start the yarn and then wrap around the paperclip. You can fill in the triangle or leave it open for different designs.

4.  Cute designed glass magnets:

What you’ll need:

  • Flat glass marbles
  • Small photos or paper designs
  • Flat magnet attachments
  • Super glue

What to do:

  • Glue the photo face up on the bottom of the flat glass marble
  • Glue the magnet on the back on the photo

5.   Cinnamon Stick Candle Holder:

What you’ll need:

  • Organic cinnamon sticks
  • Small glass jar
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Small candle with scent of your choice

What to do:

  • Put candle in small glass jar
  • Glue cinnamon sticks all the way around on the outside
