Comparing Carrots: Do You Know the Difference?

Carrots should a part of everyone’s life!  Their sweet taste and bright color definitely say, “I am good for you!”

The problem is carrots are like little orange sponges, absorbing nutrients and sometimes harmful chemicals from the soil. That is why the most important thing to do is to opt for organic carrots. But what about when you have the choice between raw organic carrots, those that have been juiced, or Carrot Juice Plus (by Purium) – Which is the best option?

Here’s a quick cheat sheet that should help.

Creamy Autumn Bliss

1 1/2 cups of almond “milk” (or organic coconut milk or hemp milk)

2 scoops of Purium’s Carrot Juice Plus

1 scoop of Purium’s vanilla chai L.O.V. Super Meal

1 frozen organic banana

1 medjool date

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 cup raw, unsalted cashews (soaked overnight)

Blend up and enjoy!
